UK – Lighting Designer Hayden Borgars has designed an electrifying show for Grammy nominated band Fever333, at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
Fever 333, known for their parkour-like stunts on and off the stage, were after a very specific look and feel. Hayden, a highly sought-after lighting designer, has worked with acts such as Hoodie Allen, Symphony X, Gang of Youths and Glassjaw was tasked with the show’s design.
He explained: “The notes sent to me outlined specific moments and effects they wanted to achieve. There were moments that required erratic & chaotic lighting and others where the lighting needed to be contemplative and moody.”
Having previously used PROLIGHTS fixtures on a number of occasions, he requested PROLIGHTS Diamond7s Wash lights from rental house Colour Sound Experiment.
Hayden commented: “The PROLIGHTS Diamond7’s were the first fixtures that came to mind where I would have individual pixel control, and some pixel animation effects at my disposal to accomplish the desired look.”
“Along with the flexibility of using the Diamond7’s as a wash light, I also used them for some tight beam looks as well which was a huge benefit.”
Summarising the fixture’s performance during the show Hayden concluded: “The size & output of the fixtures was very impressive. There are very few products that are comparable to Diamond7 that have both the zoom range and pixel control. They performed very well during the show“
