October 2026 Roundup: Awards in Italy, Infrastructure at the Coliseum, and Hands-On Touring

From warehouse prep floors to theatre grids and international conferences, October has kept the AC-ET team firmly on the move. Between picking up awards in Italy, speccing network backbones at the London Coliseum, and clocking up road miles with demo kit in Scotland, here is a look at what we’ve been working on this month - plus the key dates to get in your diary for November.

International Recognition: PROLIGHTS 'BEYOND 2026' Conference

Members of the AC-ET team - including Neil Vann (Brand Development Director) and Ben Taylor (External Sales Manager) - attended the PROLIGHTS Global Distributor Conference at their headquarters in Minturno, Italy (13–16 October). Alongside previews of upcoming hardware roadmaps, AC-ET brought home two major accolades:

Tradeshow of the Year (PLASA 2026): Celebrating the stand execution and technical demonstrations delivered in partnership with PROLIGHTS.
Best Performance in Stage Lighting: Recognising AC-ET’s sustained work establishing PROLIGHTS within UK stage, theatre, and touring markets.

Case Study: Luminex Infrastructure at the London Coliseum

The technical infrastructure at the English National Opera (ENO) received a major upgrade with the integration of Luminex AV networking systems. Installed at the historic London Coliseum, the setup delivers robust, low-latency signal distribution to meet the rigorous demands of large-scale opera and theatre productions.

On the Road: Luminex Demo Tour in Scotland

Graham Roberts and Ben Hallas spent time across Glasgow and Edinburgh this month, meeting production teams, rental houses, and venue technicians. The sessions focused on hands-on GigaCore and Araneo demonstrations for new users, alongside refresher workflows and topology planning for existing clients running Luminex rigs.

Community: Wear It Pink Day at AC-ET North

Our Leeds office backed Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink Day, donning pink workwear, sharing pink treats, and raising £80 (and counting) for cancer research and support.
