Moving Battens

Moving Battens

A moving batten is a linear fixture with a row of individually controllable LED cells on a motorised tilt (and on some models pan) axis. Moving battens create light curtains, cyc washes, eye candy and pixel-mapped effects that a single-point fixture can’t.

Moving battens AC-ET supplies:

Zoom battens: zoomable moving battens for light curtains, cyc and wash, including models with infinite tilt
Beam battens: tight, powerful beam “blades” for aerial and mid-air effects
Touring and TV battens: industry-standard moving battens for touring, festivals and broadcast
Effect battens: compact moving battens for effects and eye candy

Looking for a fixed linear fixture? See our Static Battens and Pixel Effects.
