September has been a busy month across AC-ET. From celebrating internal team promotions and expanding our career opportunities, to announcing competition winners and preparing for autumn training sessions, here is a roundup of everything happening across our High Wycombe and Leeds offices.

Team News: Celebrating Internal Promotions

We are delighted to celebrate two key promotions within the AC-ET team this month:

• Oliver Sharpe – Promoted to Rigging Sales Manager

  • Having been with AC-ET for over ten years—most recently as Senior Rigging Sales Executive—Oliver has built an exceptional reputation for technical expertise and client service. In his new role, Oliver will lead sales across our entire rigging portfolio as we continue to expand our rigging division.

• Rob Peck – Cable Production Co-ordinator

  • In addition to his role as Film & TV Specialist in High Wycombe, Rob has taken on the role of Cable Production Co-ordinator. Rob will serve as the central point of contact for custom cable production scheduling, location planning, and workload management across our cabling department.

Supporting the Next Generation: Leeds City College & Production Futures

Our External Sales Manager, Ben Taylor, recently visited Leeds City College at their Quarry Hill Campus (hosted inside the Chroma-Q Theatre) to welcome the new cohort of creative arts degree students. Through our collaboration, AC-ET provides masterclasses, tutorials, and equipment support for assessed performances throughout the academic year.

Looking ahead to November, AC-ET is also proud to be supporting Production Futures, helping inspire and guide young talent entering the live events industry.
