Already four months in, and no sign of slowing down

April has certainly kept us on our toes, with a steady run of new product launches and hands-on training sessions across the business. And with PLASA Leeds and the ABTT Theatre Show just around the corner, things are only set to ramp up.

Zeal adds LumiNode 8-IP and Gigacore 10t-IP to its IP-rated family

Check out these latest additions to Zeal’s already extensive stock of Luminex products.

Firstly, if you need a weatherproof Ethernet processor built for demanding environments, the LumiNode 8-IP delivers. With IP65 protection and NFC connectivity for smartphone-based configuration and monitoring, it supports key industry protocols including Art-Net, sACN, KiNET and RTTrPL (BlackTrax).

Meanwhile, the Gigacore 10t-IP, is a robust, IP65-rated Ethernet switch offering 10Gb capacity for reliable performance in outdoor and touring applications. Designed for simplicity as well as durability, it enables seamless transport of lighting, audio and video IP protocols - without the need for complex IT configuration.

Indian music icon Shreya Ghoshal delivered an unforgettable performance at Manchester’s AO Arena, supported by a lighting design that matched the scale and energy of the show.

To bring the visual concept to life, DMX Productions deployed 90 PROLIGHTS HaluStrip Duo fixtures. Combining warm-white LED cells with RGB peripheral effects, the HaluStrip Duo offered the flexibility and impact needed to support what was clearly a dynamic, high-energy performance.

Epic World Cup action demands the Esdlumen big screen experience

Obviously, there’s the none too small matter of this year’s World Cup this summer (11 June -19 July) which will inevitably provide a focal point for footie fans at both indoor and outdoor events around the UK. Luminex in-audio networks advanced training rounds off April

Taking any production to the next level, doesn’t just demand creative thinking - it also requires the technical know-how to bring it all together. So, it was great to see another advanced training session at our High Wycombe base for this 2 day course.
