As Rigging Sales Administrator you will be the administrative & operational backbone of the rigging sales team. You will turn enquiries into accurate quotations, quotations into sales orders & orders into deliveries that arrive complete & on time. It is a detail-heavy role in a quick moving market, where a wrong part number or a missed lead time has real consequences on a production schedule.
What you'll be doing:
Quotations and order processing:
Preparing & issuing quotations for trussing, hoists, staging & rigging hardware packages, with the assistance of the rigging sales team.
Processing sales orders accurately into the ERP system, including customer-specific pricing, discount structures and delivery terms.
Issuing sales order acknowledgements & keeping customers proactively updated on lead times, part shipments & any order changes.
Converting & following up on outstanding quotations.
Sales team and customer support:
Act as first point of contact for inbound rigging enquiries by phone & email, resolving what you can and routing technical questions to the correct colleague.
Support the Rigging Sales Manager & rigging sales team with pricing, stock availability, product information & account admin.
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within our CRM system.
Supplier & supply chain coordination:
Raise purchase orders & manage day-to-day communication with relevant suppliers on stock levels, lead times & order status.
Help to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for rigging goods.
Flag stock gaps, long lead-time items & forecast risks to the Rigging Sales Manager
Reporting and general:
Produce regular sales, margin, order-book and pipeline reports
Maintain product pricing, data and documentation on internal systems
Support marketing activity, trade shows and customer events as required, including PLASA
