Visual energy for Shreya Ghoshal at Manchester’s AO Arena

When Indian music icon Shreya Ghoshal performed at Manchester’s AO Arena as part of her Unstoppable Tour, the production required a visual identity capable of matching the scale of a modern arena tour.

Translating creative vision into technical reality

Lighting Director Manu Jacob (Principal Designer at Lights Inc.) developed a visual concept that balanced cultural richness with high-energy concert visuals. To turn this ambitious design into a reality, DMX Productions Ltd worked with the AC-ET team to secure a rig featuring 90 x PROLIGHTS HaluStrip Duo fixtures.

Versatility and architectural effects

The HaluStrip Duo played a key role in the set’s contemporary aesthetic. The fixtures provided a mix of sweeping colour transitions and architectural effects, while the warm-white LED cells maintained an elegance that complemented Ghoshal’s vocal style. The hybrid nature of the HaluStrip Duo allowed the production team to move seamlessly between intimate musical moments and large-scale arena spectacle.

For AC-ET, this project highlights the importance of supplying reliable, high-performance hardware that can meet the creative demands of international tours. By sourcing the HaluStrip Duos for DMX Productions, AC-ET helped ensure the technical team had the specific tools required to execute Manu Jacob's sophisticated design.
