Ireland – Creative production agency, Algorithm have used Green Hippo Hippotizer Media Servers to bring Blockchains, LLC’s vision of the future to life.
The Blockchains project was by far the most challenging and rewarding project we have worked on to date,”Daniel commented. “There is a real moment of satisfaction when you see the vision you’ve been so passionate about for months finally come to life.

Using the Hippotizer for this event was fantastic. We had three challenges to face with this project; mapping the interior, the exterior and creating the hologram of the young girl, and the capabilities of these Media Servers allowed us to deliver exactly what we wanted for each one. The Hippotizer really is a great marketing and creative tool.

Since the Dublin-based agency was founded in 2015, Algorithm have made a name for themselves at some of Ireland’s biggest music & arts festivals – including Electric Picnic and Body & Soul. The company, which specialises in creative stage design, installations and 3D projection mapping, have also worked with numerous tech giants, now including Blockchains, LLC.
Blockchains’ global launch, hosted in Prague’s famous Forum Karlin, saw the announcement of CEO Jeffrey Berns’ plans to develop a smart city on more than 67,000 acres of land, dubbed Innovation Park, in northern Nevada. This community will house a tech-campus, an eGaming arena and even a “modern-day fortress”, with plans to integrate blockchain technology across all aspects.
For the highly anticipated event Daniel Staines, Algorithm’s Creative Director and his team spent months perfecting their creation to deliver emphatic displays bringing Berns’ vision to life. Using a Hippotizer Karst + Media Server they acquired from A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ireland Ltd.(AC-ET Ireland), and six other Hippotizers provided by JL Lighting, Algorithm achieved three stunning displays for the event.
Outside Forum Karlin, Algorithm projection mapped a massive 50m wide / 1000m² 3D animation across the front of the venue. Projections were also mapped onto three major sites around the city over of the course of three days. Inside the event space, they designed and built a 12m long tunnel which acted as a dramatic entryway for developers attending the global launch event.
The most talked-about asset at the global launch, however, was the 3D hologram of a young girl who interviews the founder, live on stage. The young girl, who was seen throughout the city during Prague Blockchain Week, acted as an onstage emcee, pitching questions to Jeffrey as he explained plans for Blockchains.
“The Blockchains project was by far the most challenging and rewarding project we have worked on to date,”Daniel commented. “There is a real moment of satisfaction when you see the vision you’ve been so passionate about for months finally come to life.”
Daniel concluded: “Using the Hippotizer for this event was fantastic. We had three challenges to face with this project; mapping the interior, the exterior and creating the hologram of the young girl, and the capabilities of these Media Servers allowed us to deliver exactly what we wanted for each one. The Hippotizer really is a great marketing and creative tool.”
