RCF QPS 6.0K Class HD Power Amplifier - 4 x 1500 W @ 2 ohm

The RCF QPS Series is a range of four-channel professional amplifiers that combine high-quality performance and reliability with the latest power amplification technologies.

This high-value design offers, in a compact 2-rack-unit space, the sound quality and durability of class HD amplifiers, with the innovation of the latest available power devices. QPS 6.0K is a 4-channel power amplifier that delivers up to 4 x 1,500 W @ 2 Ohms. It features independent gain control, signal/clip and fault indicators, XLR outputs for channels A and C, parallel/bridge modes, and speakON output connectors. Moreover, it is protected against shorts and open circuits. Thanks to its high-efficiency heat sinks and variable speed fans, QPS 6.0K can withstand the most extreme heat conditions, ensuring reliability.

  • RCF HD amplifier technology features a highly efficient power output section designed for musicality, maintaining a natural, clear sound across all frequencies, with smooth highs and a tight, high-impact low end. The power supply rails continuously track the input signal for remarkable signal purity while preserving the high efficiency of the Class-D design. QPS amplifiers are bridgeable and maintain high reliability with complex loads as low as 2 Ohms nominal. 

  • With a very high signal-to-noise ratio, QPS amplifiers also boast a very low total harmonic distortion, making them perfect for highly demanding music applications, hence delivering perfect vocal intelligibility.

  • QPS amplifiers implement several safety strategies to protect both the amplifier and the sound system, including effective peak-limiting protection for the transducers. The temperature-controlled, continuous-variable-speed, double-fan system (front-to-back), combined with high-efficiency heat sinks, allows the amplifier to maintain a safe  working temperature regardless of environmental temperature or power output. The circuit is protected from overheating and short circuits, including protection against infrasonic DC and Very High Frequency (VHF) peaks from non-musical signals that could damage transducers.
