Trainee Video Sales

We have an exciting opportunity for an outgoing, confident individual who can develop new and supplementary business with potential and existing clients.

You will be joining a friendly, fast-paced environment with everyday offering something different. You will play a key role in maintaining and expanding the customer network, continuously developing new business opportunities by promoting the products and services available from AC-ET.

The ideal candidate will have a good technical understanding of the latest products in the entertainment industry. You will naturally empathise with clients and end users at all levels, from technicians to senior business owners. As well as confidence and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with and motivate a wider sales and support team.

You will be predominantly office-based (in Leeds, LS13) with occasional customer and supplier visits throughout the UK, including product training, demonstrations, and trade shows.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Review customer requirements in order to gain a clear understanding of customers’ business needs and offer solutions for sales.
  • Raising quotations and following up verbally with customers.
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential customers and keep accurate records of communications.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service by providing a knowledgeable, efficient response to all email and telephone correspondence.
  • Ensure every customer’s expectations and requirements are exceeded throughout the sales experience.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to confirm delivery deadlines.
  • Communicate with internal departments to check stock, schedule repairs or attain delivery times.

 

Skills Required:

 

  • Good understanding of the latest video products in the entertainment industry is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a passion to exceed client expectations.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word and Excel
  • Full driving licence and the flexibility to travel.
