Wholehog II's Keep On Clubbing

26th August 1997

Following in the footsteps of such famous nightclubs as 'Mirage' in New York and 'Rosas' in Barcelona, The Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh has the prestige of being the first nightclub in the United Kingdom to choose a Flying Pig Systems Wholehog II for its main controller.

The Wholehog II was supplied and installed for the control of a whole host of lighting fixtures and equipment, including High End Systems Cyberlights, Trackspots and Dataflash, and Martin Professional smoke machines, along with a Jands Event console. The Liquid Rooms is already up and running, and caters for both the club, and live music markets, with a new audio installation to match the class of the lighting. Lighting operator at The Liquid Rooms, Billy Elliott, quoted SPL saying 'It's all quite easy to use and a real dream once you get the hang of it and can make use of all of the features of the Wholehog II. All in all, it's a really flexible system and allows us far more scope than the more usual club systems around'.
