Helsinki City Theatre Chooses Wholehog II

2nd February 1999

The modern, yet historical, Helsinki City Theatre in Finland's capital has recently purchased a Flying Pig Systems Wholehog II lighting controller, as part of a major refurbishment. The magnificent 910 seat theatre has taken delivery of their new console to complement a range of both new and existing lighting fixtures. Conventional lighting within the theatre comes from Niethammer and ADB, with dimmers from Compulite, whilst intelligent lighting fixtures include Telescans and the Cyberlight from High End Systems. Finnish dealer Starlike who provided the Wholehog II also supplied the theatre with the Niethammer and ADB fixtures.

Following its refurbishment, the theatre is due to reopen at the end of February with a production of the famous, and spectacular, musical 'Les Miserables'.
