grandMA UK Sales go from Strength to Strength

14th May 2003

MA Lighting's grandMA range of lighting console desks are continuing to build strong UK sales and gain notable industry support, with recent acquisitions by several high-profile performance entertainment companies.

Already well established in America and most European markets, the grandMA lighting console range have earned a reputation for combining the highest performance and value with a fully integrated, networked software solution that meets the needs of all project users.

UK concert lighting company Neg Earth chose the award-winning grandMA model when they needed a fully equipped, well-proven lighting console to cope with even the most demanding concert productions. To date, their grandMA has been used for extensive European tours by Avril Lavigne and Sum 41.

Similarly, leisure entertainment group Butlins have purchased 3 consoles from the range and multi-purpose theatre the Royal Spa Centre in Royal Lemington Spa, purchased a grandMA for their main auditorium. Both companies felt that the consoles offered the quickest and easiest solution to their consistently fast turnover of shows.

Vortex Lighting, a lighting specialist in the northern UK rental market, also purchased a grandMA as it was considered the best all-round solution for supplying to its customers.

Graeme Sewell of Vortex Lighting commented: "I had been looking for a futureproof desk for some time and after much consideration, not to mention a free day long demo at A.C. Lighting's headquarters, I decided the grandMA Light was the one for us. Whether you need to build a complex structured show, or busk a gig with little or no programming time, the MA desks have the power to cope. The desk's free visualisation software is fantastic and the free 2 day training course provided by A.C. Lighting has totally convinced me that it was a wise purchase."

A.C. Lighting, the exclusive UK distributor for the grandMA console range, expect the range to build steadily in popularity as more lighting designers and programmers get the chance to try the consoles for themselves. To this end, the company are investing heavily in the consoles by providing free training and demonstration facilities for designers, programmers and operators at their offices in High Wycombe.

All units sold are also covered by a free 24 hour technical support and back-up service.

MA Lighting will be announcing further hardware and software updates to the grandMA range later this year.
