Diversitronics Launch Strobe Runner™ Controller

28th June 1999

A.C. Lighting Ltd. has announced the launch of the new award winning Strobe Runner™ controller from American manufacturer Diversitronics Inc.

This compact DMX 512 strobe controller is a powerful microprocessor based unit, designed to operate as many as 126 Diversitronics DMX strobes. Including 49 separate strobe modes, the Strobe Runner™ eliminates having to program patterns on a DMX console. Instead, pre-programmed patterns and effects are called up simply and easily from front panel push buttons.

The Strobe Runner™, and all of its features, can also be triggered by a DMX signal from a main lighting controller, or from an external contact closure. This allows the Strobe Runner™ to be fully incorporated into many different control scenarios. Other standard features on the Strobe Runner™ include an audio input, with sensitivity control, for sound to light activation of programs and effects, a LCD display, and fader control over the intensity and speed of each effect for 'on the fly' control.

The Strobe Runner™ has already achieved success by receiving an EDDY entertainment technology award in the special effects lighting category from American magazine, Entertainment Design.
