A.C. Lighting North 2005 Tradeshow Returns in April

27th January 2005

Following a record visitor turnout and exhibitor numbers reaching the hall's capacity in 2004, the organisers of the A.C. Lighting North Tradeshow have announced that this year's show will be returning to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on April 26th and 27th.

The tradeshow is an essential exhibition in the industry calendar for buyers in the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland, providing the regions with a definitive showcase of today's entertainment technology market under one roof.

Further show details will be confirmed in the coming months, but visitors can expect a repeat of last year's popular format. Many of the key brands from A.C. Lighting's stock-holding of leading lighting, audio and associated equipment manufacturers who exhibited in 2004 have already confirmed their attendance, as well as a number of new suppliers who will making their 1st appearance at the show.

As well as the chance to catch up on the very latest product innovations and receive demonstrations, face-to-face expert advice and some exclusive 'show-only' exhibitor deals, the show will again include a range of free seminars held by some of the industry's leading experts in their field.

Seminars confirmed so far include a look at the process of transferring the classic film Mary Poppins to the stage by top Lighting Programmer Rob Halliday, a presentation from top Lighting Designer Durham Merenghi, an in-depth look at the new concept of lighting in a timeline by A.C.'s Neil Vann, and Tim Roberts of Vertigo Rigging presents a case study on rigging West End musical We Will Rock You.

Jonathan Walters, A.C. Lighting's Northern Sales Director commented: "I'm delighted to announce the first details of this year's A.C. Lighting North Tradeshow. As the definitive entertainment technology showcase for the regions, we're very pleased to provide what has become an essential event for local customers to hold a dialogue with our suppliers and catch up on the latest industry trends."

Entry to the show, including a buffet lunch, is free for registered visitors. Tickets also include access to the Royal Armouries Museum - a spectacular collection of arms and armour from down the ages.
