A.C. Entertainment Technologies gets Theatrical at ABTT

28th May 2009

A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd. stand (150) at the ABTT Theatre Show, Royal Horticultural Halls, London will highlight new innovations from leading brands including Chroma-Q®, Spotlight and GLP. An extensive range of products exclusively distributed by the company in the UK will be on show, with a series of demonstrations held throughout the two days.

A.C.'s Lighting division will be displaying a selection of products from the Chroma-Q LED range. Following the enormous success of the Chroma-Q Color Block™ LED fixture with rental companies and end users alike, the manufacturer has combined the product's core elements of modularity and versatility with new single colour RGBA optics, 530 lumens output (almost double the original model) and theatrical grade dimming to create the exceptional feature set of the Color Block 2™ fixture.

Other Chroma-Q LED products featured include the Color Punch™ fixture for a 'punchy' light output from an extremely compact unit. In addition, the stand features the Color Web™ LED range of 125mm and 250mm cell pitch modular video effect panels. Artistic Licence is the designer and manufacturer of Color Web, which is exclusively distributed worldwide by A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd.

Representing the award-winning Jands Vista lighting console range is the Vista T2. The Vista's intuitive interface lets users work visually, making it fast and simple to control their lights, ultimately allowing them to focus on creating even better looking shows. For real adaptability, when using local production the generic fixture model allows users to change fixture types as their rig changes. This enables them to take their show with them wherever they go. The Vista's innovative timeline editing gives users the complete picture of their lighting events, helping them to make sense of complex changes and put the finishing touches to their show.

Featured from GLP are the Impression and new Impression XL baseless LED moving yoke fixtures. The larger Impression XL fixture has almost 3 times the light output of the original Impression (240 LEDs compared to 90), yet provides the same consistent and high quality of light. This results in especially rich colours and a beautiful beam. Furthermore, the Impression XL is only 23kg and retains the same innovative design as the original model, including silent operation and low power consumption.

Products from the Spotlight range include the Combi 1280 Fresnel PC fixture and the miniLED RGB & miniLED White range. The new Combi version combines the advantages of a dimmable halogen lamp with a much higher efficiency than a normal tungsten lamp. The low voltage 1200 W 80 V lamp is 50% more efficient, resulting in a brighter light output of 3250 K and better colour rendition. For added convenience, the fixture can be fitted with the Pebble Convex, Clear Plano Convex & Fresnel lens types. Also featured is the miniLED RGB & miniWhite range. The models combine a bright and uniform beam with very low power consumption & heat output, and a long life.

A.C.'s Audio division will be showing a selection of products from their portfolio of leading brands. Products on display will include the latest in digital mixing, featuring the Soundcraft Si3 console and Allen & Heath's iLive-T console. The Si3 is the ideal choice for touring and fixed installations. With 80 inputs and no external processing rack necessary, the digital desk provides outstanding performance in a user friendly configuration. The iLive-T is the latest in compact digital consoles. Available in various formats, it is ideal for those requiring an affordable digital mixing system. Other ranges include KV2 Audio, Yamaha, Shure and Audio Technica, to name a few. A.C. Audio sales staff will be readily available to discuss the wide range of consoles, amplifiers, microphones, loudspeakers, wireless systems, headphones & IEM and associated equipment available through the reseller.

A.C.'s Rigging division will feature the new modular, lightweight Alphadeck staging system. Its fast connecting staging system is designed to provide a solid performance stage for any environment and it is ideal for a wide range of applications. A selection of its main line rigging products, including Litec Truss, CM Lodestar, Out Board Electronics Motor Control and the Tractel Black range of manual lifting equipment will also be displayed. A wide selection of PPE and fall arrest equipment, with a particular focus on fall rescue and evacuation systems, will be highlighted. Visitors to the booth will also be able to pick up the new General Purpose Litec Truss catalogue.

A.C.'s Video division was created to provide a complete turnkey solution for lighting companies looking to make their first move into video. The service includes system design, training, installation and support. A.C. Video will be demonstrating the latest products and solutions from its complete range of system components. A series of demonstrations will be held on the Green Hippo's Hippotizer media server and TV One's range of video processing equipment.

With access to a vast multi-million pound stockholding of lighting, audio, rigging & video products and associated services, A.C. Entertainment Technologies provides a complete one-stop entertainment technology solution to customers in over 80 countries around the world.
