AC-ET Shows Latest Vision for Lighting and Video Convergence at PLASA

23rd July 2010

AC-ET’s Video division, the exclusive UK and Northern Ireland distributor for the award-winning Midiator Vision control system, will be showing the new Vision Pro console on the company’s stand at PLASA 2010 (Stand 1-E10).

The next step in the development of the innovate live show control interface, the Vision Pro incorporates eight motorised faders that give users the possibility to control the levels of devices such as media-servers, video equipment and lighting desks.

With this and many groundbreaking new software features, the Vision Pro redefines the convergence of light and video and marks the start of a new era of live control philosophy for show operators and designers.

By providing full bi-directional control of media servers, users will get visually-based previews of the layers, outputs, metadata and thumbs. Typical system setups could include a variety of media servers, lighting desks, input scalers, matrix switchers and other devices, all controlled from one interface in a live environment.

The Midiator Vision Pro console is ideally suited for integration with other leading video system brands stocked by the A.C. Video division, including Green Hippo Hippotizer media servers and the TV One range of video processing equipment.

The Midiator Vision Pro will be on display at PLASA 2010 on the AC-ET (1-E10) and Midiator B.V. (1-H41) stands.
