New Jands Hog 500 Console Launched
3rd September 1998
The Jands Hog 500 lighting control console is the latest addition to a new console line from Jands. With the introduction of the new Echelon-1k, the Jands Hog 500 has consolidated the previous 250 and 600 channel consoles into a new and refined control workstation to meet the ever growing needs within the professional lighting industry for greater numbers of fixtures.
Featuring an improved hardware platform, the new Jands Hog 500 uses the same front panel as previous consoles but now offers 500 control channels over two separate DMX outputs. Once again, the Jands Hog incorporates the same Flying Pig Systems software as the original consoles, but with a new version of the Effects Engine. Ensuring consistency, the Jands Hog 500 is totally compatible with all other Jands Hog consoles and with the Flying Pig Systems Wholehog II.
The Jands Hog 500 is perfectly suited for people who want the advanced features and flexibility that the Jands Hog and its software have become renowned for, yet require a maximum of 500 control channels.
On show for the first time at PLASA 1998 the Jands Hog 500 is available now and has the same low price of the Jands Hog 250, giving twice the number of DMX channels for the same amount of money.
