Developed specifically for the theatrical market, the new Gel-Stream 5" colour changer is able to fit onto smaller aperture size fixtures, such as the ETC Source 4 and Altman Shakespeare profiles as well as smaller fresnel and pebble convex lanterns.
Developed specifically for the theatrical market, the new Gel-Stream 5" colour changer is able to fit onto smaller aperture size fixtures, such as the ETC Source 4 and Altman Shakespeare profiles as well as smaller fresnel and pebble convex lanterns. Unique features for the Gel-Stream 5" include the fact that the power supply is built directly into the unit and so the need for extra splitterboxes and long cable runs are negated, the unit simply plugs directly into the local mains supply and is fed with a DMX, or analogue, control signal. Another design feature of the Gel-Stream 5" is its cassette loading mechanism making the changing of colour scrolls fast and easy, as the whole unit does not need to be de-rigged. Each unit has its own individual control address for maximum flexibility and can contain between 2 and 16 colours. During operation the unit is extremely quiet and remains smooth at all times. As an added advantage, the Gel-Stream has a selection of factory programmed movements that can be played back, ideal for situations where direct control over the unit is not required, or not available. With these excellent design features and its extremely competitive pricing, the Gel-Stream is the ideal solution for many colour changer scenarios.
