A.C. Entertainment Technologies takes HippoSchool on the Road

A.C. Video, a division of A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd, held its first Green Hippo HippoSchool training day in Scotland on March 3rd to great success. The one-day course was organised in conjunction with Green Hippo's in-house specialists, Simon Harris and Samantha Bailey. The diverse audience included recent purchasers of Hippotizer media server products, freelancers wanting to learn more about the system and those considering an investment in their first Hippotizer system.

With record interest in the product range from across the UK, Lee House, Business Development Manager for the A.C. Video division, thought it was an ideal time to take the Hippo School on the road. He commented:

"A.C. Entertainment Technologies is committed to providing training and after-sales support to its UK-wide Green Hippo customer base, and we hope that holding a HippoSchool event in Scotland demonstrates our total commitment to the Hippotizer and our customers across the entire country."

Hippotizer V3 is paving the way for media servers and video used in the entertainment industry. With the increasing demand, there is further need for trained individuals who can integrate, operate and program. The HippoSchool training course teaches everything users need to know in order to program the media server for a show. Topics covered include terminology, setting up the Hippotizer, introduction to HippoNet, navigating the interface, media manager, layer concepts, live inputs, generators, relays, automation, effects, geometry & colour, presets/timelines, PixelMapper, DMX & MIDI control.

The Edinburgh training day was the first in a series of HippoSchool events being organised this year by A.C. Video. The next two training days will take place immediately after the PLASA Focus Leeds tradeshow in April.
