Why is Delivery not Immediate for Certain Products?

We do not have all items in stock all the time, but we can still deliver them, just with a slight delay whilst we receive them into our warehouse.

Each item in the shop has a symbol and text to advise you of the stock status.

While we will always try to supply the chosen items within the timescales given, occasionally our suppliers may have problems supplying us which will mean the timescales quoted cannot be met, in this case we will contact you and advise of the delay and appropriate action can be taken.

International and Over Weight Shipping

We only have calculated rates for the UK up to 200kg. If you are outside of the UK and/or the total weight is above 200kg you can place your order and we will contact you with a shipping quote that is specific to your requirements. Once the quote has been prepared you will receive an email, you can then login and pay for the order.

For Professional Use Only

Equipment sold on this site is for professional use only.

If you require items to be 'Ready To Go', so you do not need to wire them yourself, please contact us for more details.

Fluids & Aerosols

Items such as smoke fluid, paint and fire retardant spray can not be shipped by Royal Mail. Please do no select this shipping option, as we will not be able able to ship it.

Aerosol based products can only be shipped to addresses within Mainland UK, please contact us for further information before ordering.

Shipping Rates

We have carefully chosen a number of carriers to handle the goods from our store. Depending on the weight and size of your order you will be offered one or more choices of carriage types. Here is a list of the current charges.

Orders placed on the site Monday to Friday by 14:00GMT and where the goods are showing as in stock will be despatched the same day, orders placed after 14:00GMT and on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and shipped on the next working day.

Whilst A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd. endeavour to ensure that goods are shipped as described above, once the goods have left our warehouse, they are in the hands of the carrier chosen at checkout. We will do our best to assist you with questions on goods that have not arrived with you, however goods shipped via Royal Mail are difficult to track due to their systems. We recommend the use of Courier where you specifically need goods on a specific day.

Bargains and Used Stock Items

Items in the Bargains and Used Stock section come in different conditions from different sources, be sure to check the items details before committing to purchasing the item(s).

Most of the items are stored in our Leeds warehouse, if you mix items from different locations it will take longer to deliver as we will have to get all the items in one location before shipping. In the future you will be able to split the order and pay for 2 sets of shipping. If you want to do this now, you will have to manually place 2 different orders.

The equipment listed is in one of the following conditions:

  • NEW
    The item is brand new & comes complete with original packaging.
  • AS NEW
    The item is as new but may not include original packaging.
  • END OF LINE
    The item is new, usually comes complete with original packaging but has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
  • EX-DEMO
    The item has been used for customer demonstration purposes only and is in excellent condition.
  • 2ND-HAND
    Item has been pre used and will not come with original packaging.
  • EX-RENTAL
    Item has come from a rental company and will have been used as part of their hire stock.
  • EX-INSTALL
    The item has been previously used within a venue and will not have been toured. Will not come with original packaging.
  • EX-TRADESHOW
    The item has only been used briefly on a Tradeshow stand and is in excellent condition.

Shipping Restrictions

Some of our chosen couriers can not take certain items. Each of these items displays a warning. The checkout process will only offer you shipping options that are available for the selected items in your cart.

If there are no shipping options available you can request a shipping quote, we will find a suitable courier that can ship your items and quote you accordingly.

Order Tracking

We will provide you with order confirmation, despatch confirmation and tracking details, via the e-mail address that you provided. The site will also provide details of your orders status.

Order Security

To keep the transaction as secure as possible we use an SSL certificate and send your payment direct to SecureTrading, our payment gateway, so we never store your credit card anywhere. This is the best possible way to conduct business online.

When completing the checkout process you will see the standard padlock symbol in your browser, along with a unique security seal at the bottom right of the page.

We also keep you secure by using the Verified By Visa and Mastercard Securecode system, these are called 3D Secure, more information is available here.

Order Status Definitions

When you progress through the checkout process your order will have different status messages, this is what they mean:

  • In Progress
    The order has been placed and payment has been taken.
  • Awaiting Shipment
    The order has been received and printed.
  • Shipped
    The order has been shipped.
  • Pending
    The order has been placed but there were no shipping options available, a shipping quote needs to be created so that payment can be made.
  • Ready
    A shipping quote has been prepared and payment is now possible.
  • Processing
    The order has been placed but no payment has been made but payment is still possible at a later date.
  • Payment Gateway Error
    This is an error with the payment provider that is outside of our control.
  • Declined
    You do not have enough funds in your account or you have opted out of registering for 3D Secure.
  • Error
    This is is when the user has entered incorrect information.
  • Cancelled
    The order has been cancelled by the user or by A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd.
