Introduction to Rigging – 2 Day Intensive Course

A.C. Rigging in conjunction with the Backstage Academy offer an entertainment industry recognised and extremely enlightening two day introduction to rigging course, highly regarded as a must for everyone new to the rigging and lifting industry as well as those wanting to update their skill set.

The comprehensive two-day training programme is an established course tailored specifically to entertainment rigging and practises, since it's inauguration the course has been well attended by industry practitioners from across the UK and Europe.

Eric Porter, experienced independent rigger, trainer, assessor and committee member for the PLASA National Rigging Certificate, leads the course being supported by academic staff at the Backstage Academy and sponsored by A.C Rigging.

The content of the training provides some of the skills and knowledge required for the PLASA National Rigging Certificate (NRC). Participants receive a training booklet, relevant technical documentation and certificate of attendance on completion of the two days.

The Rigging School offer an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience with some of the latest Prolyte trussing products and CM Lodestar chain hoists.
