AC-ET Have the Power to Perform with New CM Lodestar
25th August 2010
A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd’s Rigging division, an official distributor for Columbus McKinnon entertainment products, are proud to present the new line of Lodestar electric chain hoists.
The Columbus McKinnon Lodestar is an industry standard range of electric chain hoists recognised worldwide and synonymous with quality, reliability and durability.
CM have made the legendary Lodestar even better by incorporating new features that provide steady operation for any application in the entertainment industry. These enhancements offer the possibility to comply with all European standards of safety by adding standard components with little effort.
A five pocket lift wheel provides quieter operation, reduced chain wear and smoother running. The clutch has been relocated outside the load path, offering broad international appeal, adjustability and easier access. Precision helical gearing provides quieter and smoother operation. The internal chain guide is coated for corrosion resistance and quieter operation. Also, a redesigned control panel provides easier access.
The new and improved Lodestar is available in Low Voltage and Direct Control versions, with capacities from 125 to 3000kg and formats that conform to German, D8, D8+ and C1 standards. They also meet the British Standard BS7906 Category A for safe suspension and movement of loads above people.
The new Lodestar is fully compatible with the original models and retains such features as the adjustable limits switch, tried and tested AC electro mechanical brake, ergonomic design and durable lightweight housing.
From the company’s offices in Leeds and High Wycombe, A.C. Rigging can provide UK and international delivery of the new Lodestar as well as Prostar hoists and a wide range of CM-ET associated products. This large stock holding is backed up with a comprehensive range of spares, technical support, system integration, product training and in-house test facilities.
