AC-ET Exhibits Leading Broadcast Technologies at BVE North 2012
16th October 2012
A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) Ltd's lighting division will showcase the latest cutting edge film, television and broadcast products from its key distributed brands at the BVE North show, Manchester Central on 13th & 14th November (stand D60).
The new Chroma-Q™ Studio Force Phosphor™ range – available exclusively from AC-ET in the UK - has been developed specifically for use in film, TV and broadcast studio environments. Utilising innovate LED technologies, the units provide an equivalent soft edge output to a fluorescent fixture – up to 7,000 lumens. There’s a choice of standard daylight (5,600K) white and variable (3,200 – 5,600K) white colour temperature versions, with the variable version offering fine-tuning of the green and magenta tints and frequency for camera.
Other features include an extremely smooth uniform wash, extra soft beam, theatrical grade dimming, laboratory calibration to match Black Body Locus, a manual control mode and colour touch screen interface, fanless, studio and full modes for maximum control, PowerCon inputs and outputs, and optional accessories including spigot adaptor and egg crate louver.
The Studio Force range also includes a choice of daylight and variable white conventional LED models available in compact, multi-purpose and batten designs. Features include an extreme output ranging from 5,300 up to 28,000 lumens, a smooth, uniform wash and flicker-free, ‘theatrical grade' dimming.
All Studio Force LED models are also available as the Color Force™ RGBA lineup, which delivers power across the spectrum, from bold colours to super soft pastels, all from a single fixture.
Designed specifically for LED fixtures, the new Jands Stage CL provides twelve direct fixture control channels, powerful yet simple storing and a touch-screen interface, all packaged in compact and elegant chassis users can carry in one hand.
AC-ET carries one of the largest UK stocks of Manfrotto and Avenger professional cine / lighting support stands and grip in Europe, and will highlight a selection of the vast array of equipment available from both.
Mole Richardson have a long history as one of the highest quality equipment manufacturers in the film industry. Products on display include the latest MoleLED soft lights, including the MoleLED Single, a lightweight go-anywhere, rig-anywhere LED lighting solution available in tungsten and daylight kits, or a combination of both, which puts quality of light in the palm of your hand.
Spotlight’s innovative, award-winning Green Line range - available exclusively from AC-ET in the UK - includes a full complement of high efficiency LED Fresnel light sources. The LED lineup provides greater lighting efficiency, with energy saving and lower heat emissions; long life of the LED source, with lower maintenance costs and waste generation; and is available in space-saving ‘Mini’ versions for maximum versatility.
Green Hippo media servers are the essential tool in providing real-time video solutions for live events and at the show AC-ET will be demonstrating how easy just got easier with the release of Green Hippo’s newest software version 3.2. As exclusive UK and Ireland distributors, AC-ET will use a GrassHopper media server to demonstrate the newest features including RegionMapper - where the award winning VideoMapper turned 3D - and the 2U 19" model's Full HD playback capability working with a live camera input and much more.
From Daylight Textiles, AC-ET will feature high quality flags, silks, scrims, butterflies and a versatile range of textiles, fabrics and soft goods for universal use in film, TV and stills lighting. All have been rigorously location tested and developed to complement all the popular ranges of industry standard lighting fixtures.
