Three Colour Systems
The series offers three different colour systems:
Single Colour: Designed as a simple means to creating colourful lighting schemes, the single colour system lets you choose any colour from our collection of forty dichroic filters. Custom colours are also available on request. The single colour version is fitted with a manual intensity control, a simple screw mechanism that can decrease the light intensity down to 50% if required.
Six Colour: The 6-colour system is a programmable colour-changing system for dynamic lighting applications. It offers a selectable palette of up to six colours on a wheel. Designers are free to create their own palettes of colour. As standard, the 6-colour version is fitted with red, orange, yellow, green and blue, leaving the sixth position open for white. The system also provides a programmable dimmer for 0-100% intensity control.
Full Spectrum CMY: The most advanced and versatile solution, the CMY colour system creates a vast choice of colours that can be programmed to shift smoothly from one shade to another. The CMY system is based on that of the Exterior 200, universally acknowledged to provide the industry's best quality colour mixing system. The CMY version also provides a programmable dimmer for 0-100% intensity control.
Smooth Intensity Control
The 6-colour and CMY versions offer the benefits of smooth intensity control, a feature that offers a huge benefit to lighting designers by allowing architecture to respond intelligently to the availability of natural light.
Four different lens systems are available for a variety of beam angle options, medium (32o), wide (56o), very wide (98o), and wall-wash. The series includes a wall-wash optical system that guarantees broad, even illumination of walls and surfaces with uniform light distribution starting at ground level . An OptiWhite glass front ensures a high transmission, purer white light and true colour projection.
An adjustable lamp frame allows for 360-degree rotation and +/- 15-degree tilt. This compensates for variations in terrain and allows for precise optical aiming. A locking mechanism secures the designer's aiming position even after lamp replacement.
Manufactured from stainless steel and clear tempered glass, the In-ground 200 is designed to withstand loads of 5 metric tons. For drive-over applications, the luminaire can also be sleeve mounted and installed in concrete. Special attention has been paid to ensure easy installation.
All In-ground products are weatherproofed to withstand constant exposure to rain, heat and frost. An IP 65/67 rating guarantees safe and reliable operation in all types of weather. Separate compartments for electrical gear, PCB and junction box reduce heat to extend component life. Double glass protection reduces the surface temperature, allowing for safe installation in applications near pedestrians or delicate planting.
Depending on the complexity required, In-ground luminaries can either be operated by PC software, or without the aid of an external controller, via a built-in program or master/slave relationship.
