The new 3,000 seat Clyde Auditorium venue at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre which opened recently used A.C. Lighting as one of its major suppliers for the lighting equipment. The venue, with it's comprehensive facilities, has already staged some shows and plans to become the latest addition to the touring circuit for major concerts, and theatrical productions alike. A.C. Lighting supplied a range of equipment for the venue, including Jands Hog lighting control consoles, equipment from Artistic Licence, Zargees, and all of the drapes and cycloramas for the venue. In addition to this equipment, A.C. Lighting supplied the venue with 84 of their Vision range of Fresnel and Zoom Profile lanterns. The Vision lanterns were happily specified by Simon Kent, technical manager at the SECC, as they fitted perfectly into the requirements for performance, serviceability and price that had been specified, even up against the toughest competition.
