A.C. Lighting Unveil New Exclusive Products at LDI 2003
7th November 2003
A.C. Lighting will be using this year's LDI trade show to launch a number of key products to the US market from its growing range of exclusively distributed lighting products and accessories.
Stand highlights will include the Tourspot™ and Tourwash™ moving light ranges, which set new levels of specification in affordable, high quality intelligent lighting. Available in 575W and 250W discharge, Spot or Wash light versions, all models come supplied with quick release fixing clamps, plugs, lamps and safety bond. Models can also be supplied in pairs with twin-head flightcase.
Satisfying the highest standards in all areas of design, the range has been exhaustively tour-tested to ensure their reliability. Common features include 540°/320° pan and tilt with feedback/strobe/dimmer, quick-release fixing system, ergonomically styled handles, trailing power cable, stylish moulded casings and Blue LED data displays.
Tourwash™ core features include a CMY colour mixing system with additional 8 way colour wheel, remote zoom control (16°-28) and a directional lens for beam shaping. Tourspot™ core features include a rotating wheel with 7 indexable gobos, remote focus control, 3-position stepped beam angles (13°/18°/21°) plus frost effect, a rotating 3 way prism and an 8 way colour wheel.
A.C. Lighting will also be providing full product demonstrations of the innovative Jands Vista lighting console. Featuring a truly ground-breaking new approach to lighting desk programming methods, the Vista dispenses with touch screens, keyboards and tedious number-crunching in favour of a pen and a huge colour screen. The result is unprecedented creative power and control over every show aspect.
Another major innovation is the inclusion of a timeline feature that lets programmers see what's happening in their design in relation to time. Users can jump in at any point to edit and everything's there on the one screen. Other features include a generic fixture model that takes the hassle out of changing fixtures, splittable fader banks and a host of user-definable buttons and assigned encoder wheels.
Other notable product launches include the new Chroma-Q® Daylight PAR lantern and simple 8-way Playback Controller, as well as the innovative SpectraLite Combi Case - a multi-purpose flightcase which can be easily configured for a multitude of equipment in just seconds.
A.C. Lighting can be found at Booth 109 of the LDI 2003 show.
